2 weeks already!

Yesterday marked Will's 2 week b-day. He is growing like a weed! We had his weight checked last Thursday and he was 7 lbs 2 oz. They say that they should be up to birth weight (7 lbs 4 oz) by 2 weeks, but I think we have passed that. He was 6 lbs 8 oz when we left the hospital. So, in one week, he gained 10 oz. Which is great. I wish we had a scale to see what he is now, he just seems bigger to me. This week, he has decided that the world is too exciting to sleep. During the day, he only takes mini cat naps, but spends most of his time wide awake. He has been doing pretty good at night (knock on wood). He gets up every 3 hours to eat. Matt and I have our system down . Matt gets up, changes his diaper, and gives him to me. I then feed him and put him to sleep, which is sometimes not as easy as it seems. So, we both get some sleep, but we are still pretty tired. It comes with the territory, I guess. Other than being tired, we are all doing great. Still learning the ropes, but enjoying it.

Our first few days at home

Wow, what a week! It feels great to be home with Will. He is doing great. I cant believe he is 5 days old already! We got home on Thursday afternoon. It was wonderful to be home again. We have our first check-up for him tomorrow. He is pretty laid back, so far. That could change, but we are enjoying it now. I am sore, but getting better everyday. We really aren't on a schedule, we are just following signs from him. It seems to be working. Here are a couple pics. Sorry the one is a little fuzzy, it was just too cute not to put up. We will update again in a few days.

Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers!

The big day is upon us

Its finally here. CRAZY!!!!! Exciting, though. Today, I have to go up to the hospital and have labs done and finalize some things around the house. Then tomorrow, bright and early (don't know the exact time - I have to call this afternoon to find out) we go into the hospital and have ourselves a baby! The beginning of our new lives. We are going to be in the hospital for a few days, but we will try and get pictures up as soon as we can. Wish us luck!
