Where has the time gone?

Life is insane. Ok, I think I have said that before, but, WOW! We sold our house. Yea! (Matt will correct me here and say it is under contract. To me: same thing) I took a quick trip to Little Rock and we bought a house (again read: under contract) and right now we are trying to get everything ready to go. We will be moving in early Nov. I know, quick, huh?! Will is waking up from his nap right now, so I better go. This is about all we know; sorry for the lack of details. I'll try and get more. Just wanted to let you know we are still here and kickin'!

Check out the new fashions for fall

Tuesday we got Will's real cast put on. I was a little surprised when they told me it had to come up over his knee. I guess babies can flex their feet in just a way that they are able to get out of short casts. Its been a little frustrating, especially for him. This weekend, he was taking 5 or 6 steps on his own and was walking all over the house holding on the furniture, and now he is having to learn a new way of crawling and can't pull himself up to stand. Overall, he is being a trooper, but you can tell he is frustrated with it. Its also a learning experience for Matt and I. Changing a diaper is a dangerous sport now. First, that thing is heavy and hard and when he kicks with it, you better watch out! I have plenty of bruises from when he has kicked me with it. Second, that thing comes all the way up. Not a lot of room for cleaning mistakes. The cast can't get wet, so no baths for Will, only sponge baths. Thats a little sad, he loves bath time. But as I said before, he is a little trooper and his parents are going to have to keep up the him. I thought his shirt was fitting. He is my "little hero".

Can't keep us down!

Will, Matt, and I had a very exciting morning; as you can tell from the picture above. Will was walking along the coffee table when he somehow got his feet twisted up and fell. He cried for a while but got over it pretty quickly. We thought he was ok. It wasn't a bad fall, it looked like the ones he takes all the time, but when we went to put him down on his feet, he started crying again and wouldn't put any weight on it. So we were about to take him into the emergency room when we get a call from the realtor asking if they could show our house in 15 minutes. We were like whatever, we just won't be here. I tried to get the house to look good, but at this point, I didn't really care. Then a knock on the front door. The man was coming to fix a part of our siding that was damaged in a storm. All we were trying to do was get to the hospital. It was a little crazy! We finally get to the hospital and we have to wait 4 hours!!!! Will was doing great, but towards the end, he was getting a little cranky because he couldn't get down and run around. Poor kid doesn't understand. He finally gets to see the doctor, who tells us that Will has a buckle fracture. In the x-ray you can see a bump along the bone. Its like the bone mushroomed out. So, he has to wear this splint on his leg and we are suppose to get a call from the orthopedics this week to make an appointment with them. The doctor told us that they might put a real cast on him then. He told us that is should heal in about 4 weeks. No more adventures for a little while, ok?
