Frogs Anyone?

Ok this story needs a little back ground info first. A few months ago Matt decided to be Mr. Home improvement. When you walk up to our house, there is a sidewalk from the driveway to the front door. The sidewalk is about a foot/ foot 1/2 from the house. Well, when they built the house, it looked like they had extra concrete from somewhere and just decided to fill up the space between the sidewalk and our house. It looked bad! It was a different color and it was pored in really messy. So Matt went out and bought a sledgehammer and went to work on it. That was fun! We are planning on putting in plants and flowers, making it into a pretty garden. Well, the first time it rained, we found out that was not going to work. It fills up like a pool! To fix the problem, we just need to get gutters. Well, thats one thing on a list of needs (Update - we are getting a quote from a guy Matt works with in the next week or so) So pretty much we have a pond in our front yard every time it so much as drizzles. So the other night we get home and there are about 15 frogs on our front sidewalk using our "pond" as there personal swimming hole. They were SO loud. CROAK! CROAK! All night long! Well the next day. Matt goes out and was planning on emptying the pond and he comes back in and tells me to come out there. Well, needless to say, those frogs were busy. There are about 8 BILLION tadpoles in our pond.

Yes, all those black dots are tadpoles and that is a small corner of our "pond". There are thousands more. Frog legs anyone?

Comments:
There's babies all over your place! We have our hands full with just one baby. I'm sure if Nate was a few years older, he'd be begging me to go visit Uncle Matt and Aunt Lindsay right now!

holy good god. that's insane.

Maybe you should start a carer as frog breeders and sell them. Everyone wants a frog for a pet.

After sharing the story with Brad and Nate, we couldn't help but get a good laugh and comment on how the whole situation is just a "tad" bit funny! Hope you have a hoppy weekend.

Wow. Just wow. Little Kermits everywhere!!
